From hand-crafted chocolate and foraged pizzas to workshops and demos – secure your spot at our one-day culinary mecca

Tuesday 6 September 2022     By Anastasiia Fedorova

Soho Farmhouse Food Festival takes place on 17 September, in partnership with Porsche. An all-day culinary adventure, it brings established chefs, restaurateurs and cutting-edge producers together cook, savour – and share – all things food.

There is no need to book to attend, you can just turn up on the day to enjoy oysters by the lake, stroll the farmers’ market, and vibe out on music and Patrón cocktails. But that might mean missing out of the festival’s excellent line-up of workshops and demos throughout the day – not to mention special lunches and dinners brought to you by some of the world’s leading names in food. All of which can be booked in advance.

Want to learn state-of-the-art butchery? Intrigued about foraging or need a tutorial on how to achieve TikTok-level cooking fame? Here are seven things to sign up for now, ahead of the big day.

HexClad Lab: Lee Tiernan

Lee Tiernan, from Black Axe Mangal (or FKABAM, as it’s now known), is a chef who has always celebrated nose to tail butchery and cookery. Head to the HexClad Lab on the Barwell lawn for a demo that showcases some of the lesser-known cuts and offal in a nod to old-school butchery, but with new flavours. There are two demos: for the first, Tiernan will prepare sweetbreads, green beans and black bean sauce; for the second, a grilled ox heart salad. Seating for this will be first come, first served.
