Discover the full programme for Soho Summit Rome
From headline talks and screenings, to art installations and immersive workshops, here’s everything to enjoy at our Italian festival of ideas, powered by Porsche
Tuesday 27 February 2024 By Soho House
April is the perfect time to visit Rome. T-shirt weather and plates of carciofi aside, it’s also the month that Soho Summit – our biannual festival of creativity and ideas – heads to our House in the Italian capital.
Taking place from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 April, this year’s event builds on previous Soho Summits at Soho Farmhouse in the UK and our Los Angeles-based Houses. Now, the summit is back for a third time – and members will join us for three inspiring days, with creative pioneers from the worlds of art, music, film, fashion and more to discuss why creativity is more vital than ever for the modern world.
Over the course of the summit, this is a topic we’ll explore and debate, along with our members and headline speakers, including actors Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton), Daisy Ridley (Star Wars), Archie Madekwe (Saltburn), and Billie Piper (I Hate Suzie); film director Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy, Fifty Shades Of Grey); and fashion designers Neil Barrett and Sofia Prantera (Aries).
As part of our ongoing commitment to support the next generation of creative changemakers, Soho Visionaries, powered by Porsche, will be hosting a series of workshops, including collage making with photographer Chiara Bruni and drawing in the dark with artist collective Numero Cromatico.
There will also be film screenings, music performances and a temporary art installation commissioned especially for Soho Summit. Over the three days, San Lorenzo-based artist Alessandro Calizza will create a live painting on the ground-floor windows and doorways to the House. Drawing on classical references, his work will feature the agave plant, a symbol of strength due to its ability to survive in extreme conditions. Created at a time when hostility remains toward the LGBTQIA2S+ community, his surrealist work aims to offer hope to creative communities and marginalised people.
In an effort to make the event as accessible as possible for members, we will be including BSL interpreters for our talks and adhering to accessibility measures throughout the House, including closed captioning on all cinema screenings. We’ll also encourage panellists, facilitators and leadership to begin sessions with a visual description of themselves to accommodate those who are blind or have low vision.
See below for the full Soho Summit Rome schedule. To attend, simply book a spot at each of the events via the Soho House app. Please note: all bedroom offers are now sold out.
