From saunas to hygge, Scandinavia has a long tradition of holistic wellbeing, and our House in Denmark’s capital is no exception. As we open our new Wellness Studio at Soho House Copenhagen, members can expect a diverse programme of classes and wellness sessions by some of the city’s most exciting trainers, practitioners and instructors.

Flooded with natural light, and designed in calming greens and creams, the studio sits by the waterfront with views over the harbour. The weekly programme has been curated by Tine Hertz, founder of Copenhagen health and beauty studio One Thirty Labs, to help members look after their minds and bodies. Expect high-energy cardio and focused strength training, plus yoga classes alongside meditative sound healing sessions, cacao ceremonies and breathwork courses.

HIIT with Konstantin Bohlender 
Designed to improve endurance and build lean muscle, these regular HIIT classes are led by fitness instructor Konstantin Bohlender, with high-impact, body weight-focused moves set to a motivational soundtrack.

Yin yang yoga with Kirstine Engell
Yin yang yoga combines the introspective nature of yin yoga with the energising elements of yang yoga. Sessions begin with a grounding practice focused on holding poses for an extended period of time to release tension and promote relaxation. This is followed by a more active yang practice, incorporating flowing sequences and strengthening poses to build heat and energy in the body. The class ends with a guided meditation or relaxation to leave members feeling balanced, rejuvenated and uplifted. 

Movement research with Ismael del Valle
Part fitness, part meditation, this experimental class will help members to reconnect with their body and its capabilities by focusing on movement and rhythm. Instructor Ismael del Valle leads you through a series of moves intended to build fitness and strength, while also connecting the body and mind.

Breathwork with Saseline Sørensen
Follow Danish singer and model, Saseline Sørensen, as she takes you through a conscious breathwork class. Created to release what no longer serves you and make space for positive energy, these breathing exercises will help you connect to both the higher and lower consciousness, and enable the recall and release of any stored or suppressed emotions.  

Kundalini yoga with Ekaterina Algreen-Ussing
As much a spiritual practice as a yoga class, Kundalini yoga is intended to quiet the mind while opening the chakras, so energy can freely flow around the body. Teacher Ekaterina Algreen-Ussing will take members through movements and breathing exercises that not only make the body stronger and more flexible, but also relieve stress and boost your mood.
